Here at Crown Art Special Programs our goal is to give students access to the arts. Whether you’re a visiting college student, high school student or working professional, our programs will give you introductory exposure to the performing, cinematic or media arts, as well as advanced-level training to grow your craft. Individual courses and semester-long programs are offered in New York City and abroad. We partner with universities and organizations around the globe to give you the highest caliber of training in the world.
Vincent Van Gogh, born in 1853, is celebrated for his revolutionary contributions to art. Despite selling only one painting during his lifetime, his works, from the iconic “Starry Night” to the poignant “Wheatfield with Crows,” showcase his unique blend of Impressionism and Expressionism. His bold use of color and dynamic brushwork captivate viewers, earning him the title of the father of Expressionism. Van Gogh’s legacy endures as his masterpieces continue to inspire audiences worldwide.
